Dr. Scott Wylie is a licensed psychologist in California, Colorado and Wyoming. He has completed a residency in medical and behavioral psychology; he has also completed a post-doctoral master-of-science degree in clinical psychopharmacology. Dr. Wylie specializes in medical/health psychology and psychopharmacology as well as the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents and psychological testing. Dr. Wylie provides psychopharmacological consultations at this office as well as at the University of Wyoming’s Family Practice Residency Program in Cheyenne, and works collaboratively with prescribers to get the most benefit from the medications they are prescribing for their patients. Dr. Wylie also teaches at the family practice residency program, performs pre-surgical, diagnostic, pre-employment and disability psychological evaluations, and has active privileges at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Chaitra Wirta-Leiker is a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado’s Counseling Psychology program. The majority of her work experience has been with children, adolescents, and families who have experienced trauma and victimization. She has provided counseling in numerous settings, including community mental health centers, schools, a residential treatment center, a hospital, and a domestic violence shelter.
At Post, Wylie & Associates, Dr. Wirta facilitates psychotherapy with clients of all ages, with an emphasis in trauma and victimization issues such as childhood abuse, bullying, death of a loved one, sexual assault, and domestic violence. She is trained in play therapy, filial therapy (parent-child interaction), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR I & II). She also conducts psychological evaluations to assess for problems with memory and intellectual functioning, learning disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and various emotional/behavioral disorders.
Dr. Wirta believes that every person is a unique individual with his or her own perceptions and experiences, and she feels that everyone deserve to have their stories heard in a safe, open, and nonjudgmental environment. She realizes that all of us experience difficult times at some point in our lives, and she strives to work collaboratively with her clients to help them find healthy ways of coping. Dr. Wirta understands that change can feel frightening, overwhelming, and challenging, yet she believes that every individual has the potential to overcome adversity and recognize his or her strength to succeed. |
